About Berkshire Communicators 

For more than 75 years our family owned and operated company has provided high-quality live telephone answering service to satisfied clients. Julie Gore Mooney is the second generation president of the company. Our greatest asset is our caring, professional, long-term employees, some with more than 30 years of continuous service. Our courteous, experienced operators will answer your line in a professional manner and deliver you a quality, informative, and timely message. They can even react to an emergency situation. All of our systems have a UPS backup with a natural gas generator to allow us to operate no matter how long the power outage. Our quality control system monitors every call.

With our advanced computer-aided telemessaging system we now process thousands of calls per week! This combination of state-of-the-art technology and professional, courteous staff, ensures top quality service for both you and your customers.

Julie Gore Mooney

Julie Gore Mooney

Our President, Julie Gore Mooney, came to work for the family business in 1986 assisting in our transition from cord boards to our Startel automated paperless system. She is a graduate of Lee High School and Bay Path College. She has just been elected as a Director of our Telemessaging Industry Association ATSI. Julie assumed the presidency upon her father’s retirement in 1996.
Linda Smith

Linda Smith

Our Operations Manager, Linda Smith joined BCI as an Operator in 1998. She served as a Customer Service Representative and Manager, and Operations Manager. Linda is a graduate of Taconic High School and has completed many business courses after graduation.
Tom Koperniak

Tom Koperniak

Tom joined BCI in August 2012. He came to us with an extensive background in sales and marketing. He is a US Army Veteran and has a BA in English from Assumption College and an MBA in Marketing from Anna Maria College. Tom is our Communications Specialist and resides with his wife in Dalton.
David W. Kelley

David W. Kelley

Customer Service Representative David W. Kelley joined BCI in 2010. He is a graduate of Mohonasen High School and attended Hudson Valley Community College. He is also a graduate of Berkshire Entrepreneurial School.
Justin Mooney

Justin Mooney

Justin is a 2006 graduate of Lee Middle and High School. He attended Berkshire Community College and worked until 2010 when he transferred to DeVry University in Orlando, FL. In 2012 he earned his bachelor’s degree in business and began working in customer service. Justin is the third generation in the family businesses and is the son of Julie Gore Mooney and D. Jeffrey Mooney.
